Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills. The Early Years Practitioner will play a crucial role in managing daily activities and ensuring that each child receives the support they need to thrive. Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage activities, ensuring that children are actively participating and engaged. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development. Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and any incidents that may occur during the day.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, minimum of Level 2. Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or similar environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.
