Overview

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, inclusive environment for all children. Demonstrate leadership skills by guiding and mentoring junior staff members. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met. Collaborate with other educators to maintain high standards of care and education within the nursery.

Requirements

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential. Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Leadership qualities that inspire and motivate both children and colleagues. A genuine passion for early years education and the development of young children. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in childcare.
