Purpose of post (other than to have fun and shape futures):

To provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care for all children in the nursery. To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children, can play, relax, learn and develop. To be responsible for the care and supervision of the children.

Qualifications required:

SVQ 3, HNC or equivalent qualification recognised by the SSSC

for a Practitioner registration, and hold or be willing to obtain further qualifications as well as First Aid, Child Protection and Food Hygiene certificates.
