Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can thrive and develop their skills. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in managing daily activities, driving educational initiatives, and communicating effectively with both children and their families.

Responsibilities



Create and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's exploration and learning. Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are actively participating and engaged. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being. Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership skills while mentoring junior staff members. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track progress. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to early years education. Uphold health and safety standards within the nursery setting at all times.

Requirements



Proven experience working with children in an early years or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively is desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, demonstrating the ability to inspire young learners. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences within the nursery environment. An understanding of child development theories and practices is advantageous.

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
