Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a childcare professional to join our well established and thriving village preschool. To start ASAP.
We are looking for an experienced childcare professional who will support the Preschool Leader and Deputy Leader with running preschool. You must hold NVQ level 2/3 or an equivalent qualification ideally but a candidate willing to do a Level 3 Apprenticeship with us would be considered.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES (DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE)
Providing high quality inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children.
Being a key person for a small group of children
Being involved with weekly planning
Maintaining a safe, stimulating and enjoyable environment according to EYFS,
An understanding of current legislation and pre-school policies
Developing and maintaining partnerships with Parents/Carers
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Ability to work effectively on own initiative and to motivate others. Current working knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage. A sound understanding of child development and children's needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. To actively promote and have a commitment to equal opportunities.HOURS OF WORK:
Preschool is open Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm term time only. Our current vacancy is for 21 + hours a week, 8:15 - 3:15. The salary will be approx. 12.50 p/h dependant on qualification and experience.
