Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will engage with children through play-based learning activities, ensuring their safety and well-being while encouraging their curiosity and creativity.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of children. Supervise and interact with children during activities, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to food safety guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom and play areas, following sanitation standards. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's growth and development. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for any related transactions. Assist in managing classroom supplies and inventory as needed. Foster positive relationships with children through effective communication and active listening. Encourage positive behavior through guidance and support in social interactions.

Requirements

Previous experience in early childhood education or a related field is preferred. Culinary experience with food preparation skills is a plus. Familiarity with cash handling, cashiering, or retail math is beneficial. Strong time management skills to effectively balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills, with an ability to engage positively with children and parents alike. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Experience in the food industry or quick service & fast food restaurant settings is advantageous. Basic math skills for managing transactions and inventory are required. Pay: 13,431.00-39,288.79 per year
