We are looking for a fun loving, outdoorsy and forward-thinking Practitioner to join the team at Flowerpots Childcare - Kingseat.

As a Practitioner you will act as a keyworker, assisting children to achieve their developmental milestones and next steps in their learning. You will also be responsible for everyday care and wellbeing needs of children and supporting the team to maintain a safe, clean environment.

Flowerpots Childcare - Kingseat can have up to 85 children each day in our classrooms, enclosed outdoor space or often out at our local woodland. Our setting sits on the outskirts of Aberdeen City in a pleasant residential area that's great for exploring. We support the ethos of learning through play and child lead learning using Realising the Ambition, Curriculum for Excellence and GIRFEC as supporting documents.

We offer a friendly and welcoming environment, with an established leadership team. Lots of support and training provided by our own Talent Development Coordinator to help you achieve in the role.

Please note this post requires you to be qualified to SCQF level 7 in a childcare subject achieved through college or workplace learning. As well as an enhanced PVG, reference check and expectation to register with SSSC within 3 months of joining.

Successful applicants will be invited for interview with members of the management team. Thereafter they may be invited to complete a practical activity and spend time with the children and team. This might be done on the same day or in the form of a second interview.
