The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages children's development and learning through play.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily activities of children in the nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote learning through play and exploration.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's individual needs.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary to meet developmental milestones.
Drive initiatives that enhance the learning environment, ensuring it is inclusive and accessible for all children.
Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education to inspire colleagues.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Ability to drive initiatives that promote a positive learning environment.
Knowledge of current early years frameworks and best practices in childcare is an advantage.
