Job Summary

Little Nipperz are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team in Mayland, providing high-quality care and education to young children in a pre-school setting,

term time only

.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, demonstrating the ability to manage and lead activities that foster children's development. This role requires excellent communication skills in English, as well as the ability to engage with children effectively.

It also requires a level 2 or 3 in childcare and experience in working with children.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians regarding their development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative programmes that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain accurate records of children's activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's education and wellbeing.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (Level2 or 3) and experience in childcare settings is essential. Proven experience working with young children in a preschool or similar environment. Strong skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and staff. A genuine passion for early years education and a drive to support children's learning journeys. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy environment.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
