We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth through engaging activities and effective communication.
Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that cater to the individual needs of each child.
Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime and nap time, ensuring that all children are cared for appropriately and follow procedures.
Follow the lead of Room Leaders to ensure routines are followed and the rooms are set up to provide open-ended learning opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance in compliance with regulatory requirements using the Famly App.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and families.
Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children while promoting positive behaviour and learning outcomes.
A proactive drive to create engaging learning experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.
