Job Description

The Beehive Childcare Group is a long-established setting, running from Kinchen Hall on Colman Road in Norwich. We have two inviting rooms and a large outdoor space that we love to spend time in every day. We cater for children aged 2 to 4 years old, and we are open from 7.45am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. We pride ourselves on being a nurturing and inclusive setting, and we are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner, to join our busy team. This is a permanent, term time vacancy but with the option to add Holiday Club hours.

The ideal applicants will have:

A full and relevant Early Years qualification. Level 3 preferred but would consider an experienced Level 2 English and maths GCSE or equivalent A working knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Experience of being a key person and keeping electronic Learning Journeys Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding Children and Child Protection Be willing to undertake any training that is required to continue professional development Ability to use their own initiative, as well as follow instructions Work collaboratively as part of a team
The hourly, starting wage will be age and qualification dependant, and in line with minimum wage.

This vacancy is for 30.75 hours per week, as follows:

Monday: 11.45 - 18.15

Tuesday: 14.45 - 18.15

Wednesday: 07.45 - 15.30

Thursday: 08.15 - 18.15

Friday: 10.45 - 16.00

The successful candidate will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, and must provide two satisfactory references prior to starting.

Start date: 1st December 2025 or as near as possible to this date.
