Job Description

Abacus Day Nursery is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner qualified at Level 3 or above, to work as part of our team. You must hold a relevant Level 3 Childcare and Education qualification with appropriate endorsement. You will be supporting a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the nursery and protect all children from harm and neglect. The successful candidate will:

*have experience, knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework

*have knowledge of child development and children's needs

*be DBS checked

Hours of work will be 25 - 40 hours per week, worked over 5 days, Monday to Friday between the hours of 07.30-18.00 hours (all year round). Shift patterns to be discussed with potential candidates.
