Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. Duties

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods, ensuring their safety at all times. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines in compliance with regulatory standards. Foster effective communication with parents and colleagues to ensure consistent care and support for each child's individual needs. Organise and oversee daily routines, ensuring a well-structured learning environment. Lead by example in promoting positive attitude, respect, and teamwork among children and staff. Assist with the organisation of outings as required Contribute to the ongoing development of the nursery's policies and procedures related to early childhood education

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting. Knowledge of child development principles and childcare best practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Relevant childcare qualifications or early childhood education certifications recognised within the UK. Ability to organise tasks efficiently whilst maintaining a caring approach towards children.
