EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER

(Hours 21 per week)

Essential skills/experience

Level 2 or 3 full and relevant childcare qualification is preferred but an unqualified candidate with the right experience and approach would be considered if they were willing to undertake the qualification with a view to complete within 12 months.

A desire to deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years.

To ensure that the preschool is a safe environment for children, staff and others.

To help ensure the preschool always meets EYFS and Ofsted requirements.

GCSE English or equivalent functional skills qualification required. Basic Maths knowledge is required in order to effectively deliver the EYFS curriculum but no formal qualification is necessary.

A willingness to learn, develop own skills and face challenges is essential.

Desirable skills/experience

An understanding of play-based approaches to children's learning and development.

Knowledge of the EYFS

Salary/Benefits:

12.21 per hr level 2 / 12.32 per hr level 3

Term time working - 9:00am-3:00pm

5.6 weeks statutory holiday pay
