Job Description

Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a part-time qualified practitioner to our Bawtry Nursery. The candidate should have at least a level 2 in a relevant childcare qualification and ideally have experience of working in a busy daycare environment. There is opportunity to progress in your qualification with the chance to undertake your level 3 whilst working in a setting. The role will be 30 hours per week across a varying 3 day shift pattern across Monday-Friday between the hours of 730am-6 pm. The job role will include

Being a key person for a group of children
Undertaking observations on children and planning appropriate activities for them under the direction of your room leader
Meeting all requirements of the EYFS
Ensuring all nursery policies are upheld
Building good relationships with parents/Carers
The ideal candidate should

Have a genuine passion for working with children and ensuring children have the best possible start in life
Have a relevent childcare qualification at least level 2
Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS
Outgoing and confident
Have a bubbly, friendly personality
Have a good use of initiative
Have a high standard of spoken and written English
Be able to take direction and work well as part of a team
