Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their formative years.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children and their families. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive learning atmosphere. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of care and education within the nursery setting. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and other relevant information. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early education.

Requirements

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, particularly in English. A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to drive children's learning through play-based activities. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
