Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years practitioner you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of children in our nursery setting. Working with the curriculum for excellence and having a qualification meeting the sssc registration is essential . Full time Monday to Friday is required.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to explore and learn. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to childcare. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all health and safety standards are met within the nursery. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, demonstrating leadership qualities within the team. Support children in developing social skills, emotional intelligence, and independence through guided play and structured activities.

Experience

Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. Working in 3-5 room desirable A qualification in childcare . Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage small teams effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children and their families. A passion for early years education and a commitment to fostering children's growth and development.

Pay: 25,692.00-27,630.00 per year
