Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator with minimum level 2 qualification to join our team In our purpose built nursery in Perranarworthal. We are a small close knit team, but due to extended government funding, have further full time positions to fulfil.

We believe in offering children a nurturing environment and enabling them to explore nature and be outside as much as possible.

We are seeking passionate and caring practitioners to join our team to care for under twos. Our baby room is an open airy space for our youngest members to learn and develop, with motivated and inspirational adults supporting their development and setting up enroching experiences for our littlest ones to play with in a safe environment.

We have access to woodlands for outdoor learning opportunities.

As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. If you have a love for working with children and are committed to their early development, we encourage you to apply.

Duties:

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children

- Create a safe and supportive environment that promotes learning and exploration

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

- Observe and assess children's development and provide feedback to parents

- Collaborate with other educators to develop curriculum plans and learning goals

- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care

- Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated on best practices in early childhood education

Requirements:

- Previous experience working in a nursery or early childhood education setting

- A genuine passion for working with young children

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment

- Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire children

- Proficiency in English (additional language skills are a plus)

- A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is preferred

Please note that all positions at the nursery are working hours between Monday to Friday, 730-6pm, with monthly evening meetings (once a month).

This position would ideally be a 40 hour contract, 8-6pm four days a week; Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday and Fridays. However this could be discussed.
