Are you a passionate and inspiring Level 2/3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a new role?

Working hours between 07:30-18:00 up to 5 days a week, 38 or 52 week contract.

At Smarties we ask that in our strong team of practitioners we are providing a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children aged 2-5 years in Preschool and 2-11 in Out of School/Holiday Club

Duties:
- Implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children.

- Distribute warm hugs as and when required.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to feel comfortable.

- Be able to read a ten page story upside down, with at least 3 interruptions per page.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
- Observe and record children's growth, development, and behaviour.

- Have the ability to rapidly count the heads of lots of small moving people.
- Collaborate with other educators to develop individualized learning plans for each child.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.

- Love being outside come rain or shine!

Requirements:

- Minimum Level 2 qualification.
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education.
- Strong ability to work as part of a small team.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Drive and passion for working with young children.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Patience and Diplomacy.

Pay: 12.21-12.85 per hour
