Overview

Poppins Day Nursery is a small private day nursery in Handsacre. We are a family run, professional nursery whose goal is to provide a fun, safe environment where all children can thrive, develop and enjoy nursery life.
We are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Years Educator/Senior Practitioner who has a strong background in Early Childhood Education and a nurturing approach to support children's development and be committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to explore and grow Develop individual learning plans based on children's interests and needs Monitor and assess children's progress to ensure developmental milestones are met Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external professionals Manage daily routines and provide personal care when necessary
Experience
Required Skills:

2 years experience of working in childcare or nursery settings. 2 years experience of working in a baby/toddler room. Strong leadership skills to guide and inspire children Drive to create a positive learning environment for young learners Proficient in English language for effective communication Appropriate qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field Ability to manage challenging behaviours with patience and empathy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
