Job Description
An early years practitioner is required to join our team, any candidate should have a minimum of a level 3 childcare (early years) qualification and a pediatric first aid certificate is desirable, experience in a child care setting is essential and also a good strong knowledge of the EYFS, a good knowledge of safeguarding and a good understanding of SEND is important.
The job description entails working with children in an early years setting, the candidate will take on a role of key person for children, you will be expected to have a good knowledge of the EYFS as you will be required to record observations on the child to enhance their development and link the evidence.
Interaction with families of the children is also a necessity and also other professionals ,therefore, good communication skills are essential.
The successful applicant will require a DBS and two satisfactory references.
