Job Summary

Due to an increase in demand with the new funding, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children in our nursery setting. We are a longstanding nursery with a good reputation and have a lovely building and staff team!

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Manage daily activities and routines, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting learning strategies as necessary. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall quality of care and education provided. Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning and the curiosity approach. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

A recognised Level 3 in Education/Childcare is preferred. An apprenticeship may be available for an exceptional candidate! Experience working with young children is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when required. A genuine passion for early years education and child development. A current PFA certificate is desired (if not, must be willing to undertake)

Pay: 12.30-13.30 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
