Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting young children's development in a nurturing, innovative and creative environment?

We're looking for a highly motivated individual who can work to a high standard to join our nursery team. You'll work alongside a friendly, experienced team, dedicated to child-centred care, collaborative practice and continuous professional development.

We focus on building positive, nurturing relationships, and building children's independence, to promote their learning and development. Your role will involve supporting children's learning through play, care routines, providing engaging activities that spark curiosity and growth, ensuring the indoor and outdoor environment is stimulating and welcoming, providing practical and domestic support in the upkeep of the nursery, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with parents and children.

You'll work as part of a collaborative and supportive team who engage in regular continuous professional development. Our nursery is at the heart of the community, working closely with families and local partners to make a real difference and bring about change through nurturing relationships. We work closely with Save the Children, Sheffield City Council, NHS England and Watercliffe Meadows school, to provide a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child and family feel valued.

You will need a minimum

Level 3 full and relevant childcare qualification

as defined by the

Department for Education on the Early Years Qualifications List and Ofsted Welfare Requirements

or equivalent.

Please note this is a term time only post (37 hours week / 39 weeks per year)
