Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to manage a diverse group of young learners. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children.

Duties



Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating nursery environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and maintain high standards of care and education. Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build positive relationships within the nursery community. Manage daily routines, ensuring that all children receive appropriate care and attention. Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.

Requirements



Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour. A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
