Dingley's Promise Southampton
, we provide a supportive and inclusive environment where children aged 0-5 with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can learn, grow, and thrive through play-based learning. We also work closely with families by offering information, training, and support, as well as advising mainstream early years settings to enable greater inclusion.
About Us - Dingley's Promise
Since 1983, Dingley's Promise has been a leader in delivering life-changing early years support for children with SEND. We currently run five specialist Early Years Centres across the UK. Our centres offer sessions for families from
9:15am to 2:45pm, term time only
We also operate up to
nine playschemes per year
during non-term time (13 weeks), offering optional additional hours for interested staff.
Your Role - Early Years Practitioner
Reporting to the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in the daily planning, delivery, and ongoing development of our Newbury centre. You'll be part of a passionate team committed to the charity's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a warm and supportive Key Person, ensuring the individual needs of each child are met through observation, planning, and assessment.
Build strong, trusting relationships with families, ensuring they feel valued and confident in their child's care.
Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and team members to ensure a holistic and consistent approach.
Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Who We're Looking For:
We welcome applications from candidates with a
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
. Experience working with children with SEND is desirable but not essential - we offer opportunities for further training and professional development.
