Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team (level 2). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our nursery setting. The Early Years Educator will play a key role in supporting children's learning through play-based activities while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn. Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are supervised and engaged in age-appropriate tasks. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative approach to childcare. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that supports each child's individual needs. Lead activities that promote physical, social, and emotional development through play. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.

Experience

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children and parents alike. A proactive approach to driving initiatives that enhance children's learning experiences. A genuine passion for early years education and commitment to fostering positive relationships with children and families.
