Bacton Under Fives

are on the search for a kind, caring individual who is passionate about providing exceptional care for children and their families at either a Level 3 or Level 2. We are open to discuss part time or full-time hours, although it is not possible to accommodate 9am - 3pm shift patterns.

Your responsibilities

Under the guidance of the room leader, you will:

create a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and eager to explore plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development across the EYFS including observing and recording progress using a play based approach build strong positive relationships with children and their families work collaboratively with the team to create a consistent, supportive and inclusive setting contribute to the settings continuous improvement by sharing ideas, reflecting on practice and participating in training and staff meetings.

What you will need

Level 3 full and relevant early years qualification (level 2 would be considered) A genuine passion for Early Years Strong communications skills Ability to work as part of an established team First Aid, Food Hygiene and Safeguarding desirable.

About us

Bacton Under Fives are a well-established Early Years Setting in rural Bacton. We are a committee led charity, providing play-based learning and care from birth to 5 years old with a wraparound care option. We are open all year round except for bank holidays and over Christmas. Our most recent Ofsted was in 2024 where we received a 'Good'. In line with our safer recruitment policy, any offer of employment is conditional of 2 satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
