Job Description
An exciting opportunity for an outstanding Level 3 Early Years Practitioner from Sept 2025
We currently have two part time vacancies
1) 13.32hrs pwk (2 days tbc)
2) 13.32hrs pwk (2days tbc)
Depending on the applications the post may be suitable for one candidate 4 days a week.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Early Year Practitioners to join us during the hours of 08:30 - 15:30Term Time.
The role will allow you to provide and create a stimulating and educational environment for all children in order for every child to be happy and have opportunities to learn and develop at their own pace.
As an Early Years setting we offer care and education for children from 2 years - 5 Years and are open 08.30 - 15.00 Mon-Fri TERM TIME ONLY
We operate from one large classroom within Chennestone Primary School in Sunbury on Thames, with a free flow access to our huge outdoor environment.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Act in a professional manner at all times. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be proactive and show the use of initiative through all tasks undertaken. To work consistently as a team To follow and adhere to OFSTED statutory requirements and EYFS guidance, including professional development. Remain self aware of and have the ability to evaluate and reflect on your own practice on a continuous basis. Maintain compulsory training as well as ad hoc training when required
Knowledge and skills requireded
A drive to delivery outstanding Early Years Education for children Excellent planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail Self-motivated Able to work on own initiative but also within a team Must have trong academic writing skills to assist in the preparation of handwritten learning journals.
Qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 in Early Years Education
GCSE Maths & English (grades A-C or equivalent)
Paediatric First Aid Certificate (12hrs)
Safeguarding (Level 1 & 2 completed within last 2yrs)
Salary: Min 12.21phr
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
