Granny Smith's Nursery has been established in Troon town centre since 1989. The early years nursery school caters for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 8 years. There is space for 60 children at any one time.

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our supply team at Granny Smith's Nursery in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Early Childhood Education and creating a nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Duties:

- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for children

- Create a safe and stimulating environment that supports learning and development

- Provide individualized attention to each child

- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

- Monitor and assess children's progress

- Implement daily routines and schedules

- Maintain accurate records of children's development

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

- HNC Childhood Practive or equivalent

- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff

- Drive to create a dynamic learning environment

- Previous experience working in a Nursery or Early Years setting

- Knowledge of Early Childhood Education principles

- Proficiency in English language

- Experience working with young children in a childcare setting
