Childcare Practitioner
We are looking to recruit an experienced Early Years Practitioner level 3 qualified (as a minimum) to work within our nursery rooms which may include baby room 0-2 years ,2-4 year old room and our SEND provision you will need to be nurturing and have a clear love for the children . Hours working will be 37 hours Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday, Friday working hours shifts between the hours of 7.15 to 6pm Please provide a CV and covering letter no later than the 8th September 2025. PURPOSE OF THE POST

? To ensure that high quality childcare is delivered in the Nursery

? To ensure that the childcare within the Nursery provides the children with a happy, safe, secure environment that promotes the developmental and educational needs of each child.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Child Development To promote the development of an integrated service for children and families.

To implement an appropriate curriculum through the Early Years Foundation Stage.

? To be able to offer professional opinions, both verbally and written in matters relating to the children and others where the need for shared information may rise.

? To monitor each child's development through observation, monitoring and the accurate recording of stages of each child's development through written and verbal reports.

Ensuring that any recording of information is kept up to date collected and stored in accordance with current guidelines, and in line with the Nursery policies of confidentiality.

To work and communicate effectively with external agencies, children, parents and carers.?

To ensure positive links with parents/carers are maintained, making them feel welcome and involved in their child's learning and experiences.

Encourage parents to recognise the value of play and early learning experiences with their child.

? To work closely with colleagues and other professionals in response to identified needs.

? Ensure that parent and child's confidentiality is maintained at all times and work within the Nursery policy on safe guarding.

To raise parent's awareness of Health and Safety issues.

To make parents aware of local facilities for their children and encourage their participation.

To identify SEN within the Code of Practice and to make appropriate referrals.

? Maintain appropriate records in accordance with the Nursery policy on Data protection.

? Undertake appropriate training identified through PAR

? Adhere to the policies and procedures of the Nursery.

Strictly observing health and safety regulations

? To undertake such duties as appropriate to the post.
