We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young learners. You will be responsible for guiding children through their early years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and educational growth.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as necessary. Manage classroom behaviour in a positive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among children. Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery. Drive initiatives that support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Skills

Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering a positive learning environment. Leadership qualities to inspire and guide both children and fellow educators. Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage. A valid driving licence is preferred for potential off-site activities or excursions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
