We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and learning of young children. The Early Years Educator will play a crucial role in fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for children, parents, and staff. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Maintain high standards of care and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and share best practices. Support children in developing essential life skills through play-based learning experiences. Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children as required.
