Early Years Practitioner Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating effective training programmes that support the ongoing professional development of nursery staff. This role is key to developing staff confidence, improving practice standards, and ensuring high-quality care and education for all children. To ensure all staff are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to deliver high-quality early years education in line with both the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and our curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
Support apprentices by providing day-to-day training, coaching, and guidance to apprentices and practitioners in building their knowledge, skills, and behaviours in line with EYFS and Ofsted expectations
Role model best practices in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including safeguarding, child development, interactions, observations, planning, and behaviour management.
Identify training needs through liaising with nursery managers to align training with workplace performance and support needs.
Deliver in-the-moment coaching to staff and apprentices, demonstrating positive interactions and practical skills to support their learning and development
Deliver engaging training sessions using a variety of methods (in-person, online, workshops, coaching).
Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with statutory training requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training through constructive feedback, assessments, and observation to help identify areas of improvement.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment and ensure all learners feel supported and valued.
Provide regular one-to-one coaching, observations, and progress reviews.
Promote a culture of continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to adapt training to different learning styles and levels of experience.
Passion for supporting and developing others.
Ability to inspire and motivate staff through effective role modelling.
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

Pay: 29,000.00-33,000.00 per year
