Abbotsholme is a co-educational, boarding and day school for ages 2 - 20 with additional Nursery provision. Set in a large, beautiful estate on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border, we are committed to a holistic philosophy of education, striving to nurture and develop pupils' strengths and abilities through excellence in academic studies, superb pastoral care and a unique and broad-ranging extra-curricular programme.

We are proud to run a stimulating and nurturing nursery setting for children aged 2 - 4 for them to learn, develop and have fun. An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly, hardworking team, providing the highest standard of care for our nursery children.

You will be assisting in providing a range of stimulating and exciting activities for the children which encourage independence, motivation and an eagerness to learn

Previous experience in a nursery setting is essential along with a good understanding of EYFS and a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification.

Job Type - Fixed term contract till 03/07/2026

Salary - Competitive depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule - Monday to Friday (full time) between the hours of 7:30am to 5:30pm

Education - NVQ Level 3 or higher

Work Location - In person
