We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the foundational skills of young children in a supportive and engaging environment. You will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive atmosphere that promotes learning through play and exploration.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that cater to the individual needs of children. Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and social interaction among children. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care by adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean environment. Collaborate with colleagues to create an effective educational programme that supports children's growth. Engage with parents and families to build strong relationships and promote involvement in their child's learning journey. Manage time effectively to balance educational activities with necessary administrative tasks.

Qualifications

A relevant qualification in Early Years Education or Child Development is preferred. Previous experience working with young children is highly desirable. Skills in food preparation, kitchen management, and knowledge of food safety practices are advantageous. Basic maths skills for managing simple financial transactions or budgeting for activities. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient planning and execution of daily tasks. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. A positive attitude towards teamwork and collaboration within an educational setting.
