Early Years Practitioner Level 2 or above to join our team September 2025.

Flockton Pre-School are seeking to recruit a qualified level 2 Early years practitioner to join our friendly, passionate and professional team in September 2025.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to at least level 2 or above in childcare and have extensive experience of working in a pre-school. They must be capable of working under pressure and be a team player.

We require two years minimum works experience and must have in depth knowledge and experience of working within and implementing the EYFS statutory framework and characteristics of effective learning. The ideal candidate must have a clear understanding of child development and what quality teaching and learning looks like. Knowledge of welfare requirements is also desirable.

The ideal candidate will be professional and maintain high standards of care and learning, as well as being approachable , caring and have a passion for working with children and parents. Candidates will be able to work alongside a small, friendly staff team, supporting and delivering the best practice to all children in the setting. This is a permanent contracted post - term time only.

20 hours per week minimum to start. The ideal candidate must be flexible to cover for staff illness/holidays, this will be a stipulated in staff contracts.

Pay to be also be discussed dependent upon experience.
