Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, ensuring their development and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers as necessary. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained. Manage daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and rest periods. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster positive relationships. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to guide a team effectively. Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to engage with children at their level, promoting their confidence and independence. Driving skills may be advantageous for transporting children or materials as needed.
