Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their emotional, social, and cognitive development. Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to build strong relationships. Manage daily routines, ensuring that children's needs are met in a timely manner. Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall learning experience. Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among children. Provide leadership within the nursery setting, guiding less experienced staff as needed.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while fostering positive relationships with children. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through play-based learning experiences.
