Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role is essential in supporting the development of children in our nursery setting, ensuring that they receive the highest standard of care and education.

Responsibilities

Create and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build positive relationships and support children's individual needs. Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and other staff members. Drive initiatives that encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided within the nursery. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment for both children and families.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is essential. Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics while providing leadership within the team. A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development through play-based learning experiences. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated to drive individual initiatives within the nursery setting.
