We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and supporting both children and fellow staff members.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating findings to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children. Drive initiatives that enhance the learning experience, incorporating creative play and exploration. Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to inspire young learners. Ability to drive initiatives that promote children's learning through play-based approaches. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is an advantage.
