We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our preschool team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your knowledge and experience while making a positive impact on children's lives. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with experience in childcare or early childhood education, including nursery experience.
Responsibilities
Ensure that Safeguarding policies and procedures are at the heart of everything that we do
Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 2.5-5 years
Foster a safe, caring, and inclusive environment that promotes children's emotional and social well-being
Supervise children during play and meal times, ensuring their safety at all times
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities in accordance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's individual needs and development plans
Lead by example in promoting good behaviour, manners, and positive social interactions among children
Manage daily routines efficiently alongside your colleagues
Contribute to the organisation of nursery events and activities that enhance children's learning experiences
Uphold health and safety policies, including hygiene standards and safeguarding procedures
Skills
Proven experience with children, ideally within nursery or early childhood education settings
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage confidently with children, parents, and team members
Childcare qualifications recognised within the UK (e.g., Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification) are essential for this role
Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and creativity in working with young children
Organised with good time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

All candidates will be subject to a clear Enhanced DBS and suitable references before they can begin employment. If successful, after interview the candidate will also be expected to complete a series of online training courses relating to Safeguarding before their first day.
