Winteringham Under 5s Practitioner

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic EYFS practitioner to join our established, friendly pack away setting in beautiful Winteringham. Our children love to learn so all you need to be able to do is excite, delight and encourage.

As a practitioner, you will:

Develop and maintain nurturing, positive relationships with children and families.

To use skillful interation strategies within teachable moments with children to extend their learning.

Ensure all children are included and have equality of opportunity. Monitor all children's progress and idnetify any need

To assume responsibility for key children and solely complete their learning journey.

Adhere and support commitment to Health & Safety procedures at all times Work in partnership with the management committee to ensure high standards are always maintained. Work in partnership with the local school and any other schools/settings as appropriate Work in partnership with families within the community and ensure childcare services meet their needs Ensure the childcare service reaches out to all families and supports them effectively Take the lead in designing and decorating the yearly show float for the Winterton Show. Attend committee meetings regularly

Person Specification

Qualifications/Experience

Essential:

Minimum 3 years experience

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

Enhanced DBS check

Passionate about Early years education, childcare and own development

Lots of energy and a positive attitude

Support and work effectively in partnership with the Preschool committee

Up to date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations

Good level of communication when speaking to children and adults alike

Knowledge and Experience of Safeguarding children and keeping children safe

Awareness of health and safety requirements

Commitment to and understanding of the importance of Early Years Practice

GCSE English Grade C or above

Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice
