Learning Facilitators provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-16.
Working as a key person, they contribute to planning, observing and assessing children's development, whilst building strong relationships with families and working collaboratively with Heads of Department and colleagues.
This role is suited to a confident practitioner who thrives in a team environment and values a child-centred, play-based approach to learning.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities that promote children's learning and development.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and learning journals.
Act as a key person to a group of children, building close relationships with parents and carers.
Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety standards are met at all times.
Support Head of Department in creating a stimulating and inclusive environment.
Provide guidance and support to Apprentices and Placements as needed.
Contribute to the reflective practice and continuous improvement of your room.
Person Specification
Essential:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Minimum 1 year of experience in an early years setting.
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Enhanced DBS check and a commitment to safeguarding children.
Desirable:
Additional qualifications in SEND, behaviour, or communication.
Experience with online learning journals (e.g., Tapestry, Famly).
Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training.
