We are have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, caring, passionate, experienced and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Heather's Nursery.

You have the ability to make every child feel special.

You have a warm, friendly nature and be able to distribute hugs as required.

You laugh at jokes you don't understand.

If a child requests that you be a fairy, a pirate or a spaceman, you must be the best fairy, pirate or spaceman that you can be!

The ability to sing out of tune in front of a small crowd.

Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically.

You are prepared to drink numerous cups of pretend tea on a daily basis.

You can read a story, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page.

Possess the skills to count the heads of numerous moving small people.

You are prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace.

Most importantly. you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families.

Responsibilities:
- Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for children aged 0-5 years
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based activities
- Observe and assess children's progress and communicate with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's needs
- Ability to work as part of a team

Pay: 24,082.50 per year
