Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is integral in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their development through engaging activities and play. Duties

Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their child's development. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience through teamwork and shared best practices. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and nursery standards. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues. A commitment to ongoing professional development in early years education practices is expected.
