About the Roles:
Level 6 Early Years Practitioner
We are looking for an experienced and confident practitioner to take on a senior role within our pre-school room.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and supporting staff in delivering high-quality practice
Maintaining a 1:13 ratio in line with statutory requirements for Level 6 staff
Approving observations, contributing to assessments and end-of-year reports
Planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities using the EYFS
Providing guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues
Building strong, professional relationships with children, families and staff
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Our Level 3 practitioner will support the delivery of high-quality care and learning under the guidance of the Nursery Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting children's learning and development using the EYFS framework
Carrying out observations, planning next steps and contributing to assessments
Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
Meeting individual children's needs with care and professionalism
Ensuring a safe, stimulating and engaging learning environment
Essential Requirements (All Applicants)
A full and relevant Level 3 or Level 6 Early Years qualification
Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for early years education and child development
Additional for Level 6:
Strong knowledge of the EYFS
Experience leading and supporting staff
Confidence in assessment, planning and report writing
