Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team as a room leader. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role involves fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners, ensuring their developmental needs are met while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

Duties

Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental stages of children aged 0-5 years. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their curiosity and love for learning. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and development. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall educational experience. Manage classroom activities, ensuring that all children are actively participating and engaged. Provide leadership within the team, mentoring junior staff as necessary. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and adapt learning strategies accordingly. Have a strong knowledge on safeguarding Safeguarding is paramount within our setting and all successful cadidates are subjuct to DBS check and reference clearance.

Qualifications

Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings, particularly in a nursery environment. Strong management and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their individual needs. Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting children or attending off-site activities. Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are preferred but not mandatory.
