Stebbing green day nursery have the opportunity for a Senior/ third in charge practitioner to join our preschool unit. We are a small private nursery, nestled in the countryside less than 5 minutes from Great Dunmow. This position would suit qualified and experienced practitioners looking to progress thier career to the next stage, or professionals from other early years backgrounds looking for a new way to make a difference. You will be responsible for overseeing care and education for 3-5yr olds and taking a lead role in planning fun and educational experiences which meet the needs of children and EYFS curriculum standards. Applicants must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS, and an understanding of how children learn and develop maths and literacy skills is essential. Part of your role will be planning and liaising with local schools to help facilitate smooth transitions for children, and the safe transfer of information for children and thier families.

Duties
- Develop and implement innovative curriculum strategies that align with educational standards.
- Educate and mentor team members by modelling best practices in curriculum delivery.
- Communicate effectively with educators and parents, to promote EYFS curriculum initiatives.
Skills
- A passion for continuous improvement in educational practices and learner outcomes.
-Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
-Excellent knowldege of the EYFS and understanding of how children learn and develop
-Excellent standard of verbal/written english and maths
-understanding of how to plan for and deliver effective literacy/maths programmes.
Qualifications
- Full and relevant early years qualification to level 3 or above is essential.
- Experience in implementing EYFS curriculum
- English and maths qualifications to GCSE equivalent or above
