Early Years Teacher

Footsteps Nursery Fradley.
Salary: 28,496 per annum (13.70 per hour)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, All year round
Our unique, rural setting is based on six acres of land, situated next to a beautiful canal and nature reserve - children have plenty of opportunity for outdoor learning. Our Pre-school unit has its own outdoor area, as well as outdoor classroom and sensory room and access to a forest school. We are looking for an Early Years Teacher to embody and deliver an exciting curriculum that prepares the children for school and is rich in exciting, meaningful opportunities!

Your Role as an Early Years Teacher:
As a valued member of our team, you'll:
Passionate about the early years, delivering quality and a high standard of teaching.
Deliver high-quality practice aligned with the EYFS.
Act as a key person and maintain accurate records.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities.
Ensure children's safety, wellbeing, and development.
Mentor and guide junior staff and students.
What We're Looking For:
Early Years Teacher qualification (Essential)
Experience working within a Pre-School
Previous experience working with babies under 2 years old
A passion for the outdoors and outdoor learning, with an enthusiasm for forest school activities
Strong understanding of child development and the ability to provide purposeful learning experiences
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in working with parents and colleagues
Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding and child protection
