We are a community-run Nursery with charitable status for babies and children aged from 3 months to 5 years old. We are a large and vibrant setting, providing fantastic early education and childcare to around 110 children.
We believe that every child is unique and deserves a good start in life. Our children are nurtured and cared for by experienced staff in a specially designed space to maximise their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children aged 3-5, with a strong understanding of the EYFS and school readiness.
Lead the Preschool Room for children aged 3-5, creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Help children develop their confidence, independence, and social skills to prepare them for starting school.
Carry out settling-in observations, regular progress checks, and school transition reports.
Support children's development through age-appropriate play, routines, and positive interactions.
Lead and support the team in your room, ensuring a high standard of care and early education.
Work closely with parents and carers to share updates and support each child's individual needs.
Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures to keep children safe at all times.
Keep the room well-organised, inclusive, and responsive to the needs and interests of the children.
For this role you must have:
Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)
or
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
.
Passionate about early years education and childcare.
Good knowledge of EYFS.
Essential skills/Experience:
Leadership skills
Enthusiasm for working with young children
An interest in the care, learning and development of young children
A commitment to the provision of high-quality childcare
